The HDMI audio extract converter from avedio links can be utilized in a wide range of applications, including teaching, DJing, meetings, gaming, movie watching, and live performances. The HDMI audio extractor 8K features four audio EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) settings, with a toggle switch that allows you to switch between TV, 2.0, 5.1, and 7.1 audio formats.

In TV Mode, the HDMI output signal is in TV Copy Mode, so the output resolution will match the EDID displayed on the connected TV. The HDMI Audio Extractor will also extract audio, providing a 2.0-channel audio signal through the 3.5mm port and a 5.1-channel audio output through the SPDIF port.

In 2.0-channel Mode, the HDMI Audio Extract 4K HDR output signal will be routed to the 3.5mm port, with the audio format of the HDMI Audio Output and SPDIF port both set to 2.0-channel PCM.

In 5.1-channel Mode, the HDMI 2.1 converter with 7.1 Audio output signal will be sent to the HDMI Audio Output and SPDIF port. (Note: The 3.5mm Audio port does not support 5.1-channel audio; in 5.1-channel audio format, please disconnect the 3.5mm port.)

In 7.1-channel Mode, the audio format is LPCM, and the HDMI Audio Extract 8K 120Hz 7.1 output signal will be sent to the HDMI Audio Output. (Note: If the TV or monitor does not support 7.1-channel audio, there will be no audio signal.)

The HDMI 2.1 Audio Extractor 4K@120Hz features a high-resolution HDMI loop output and high-quality audio extraction. With an HDMI 2.1 interface, it can output resolutions up to 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, 2K@144Hz, and 1080P@240Hz at 4:4:4 8-bit without any stuttering or flickering.

The HDMI audio converter offers a variety of audio extraction ports, allowing you to connect various audio devices. It can extract audio from HDMI input sources via 7.1-channel HDMI audio, 5.1-channel Optical Toslink SPDIF + coaxial, and 2.0-channel 3.5mm audio jack.

The HDMI audio splitter supports LPCM 7.1/5.1/2.0, DTS-HD, Dolby-Digital, and Dolby-TrueHD audio formats. It is also compatible with 4K HDR ULTRAHD, VRR, Chroma 4:2:0 / 4:2:2 / 4:4:4, and HDCP2.3, with a maximum bandwidth of 48Gbps. (Note: To achieve Dolby Vision and HDR, the output must be connected to two devices that support Dolby Vision and HDR simultaneously.)
